All Effects & Finishes

EFFECT versus FINISH - Huh? What do you mean they're different.

At Glitter Haven we refer to an EFFECT as the way light interacts with a glitter particle. whether its reflection, refraction, shiny or sparkly. For example holographic effect uses special technology on the glitter film to reflect different light waves at different angles, thus we see a rainbow where there is none.

FINISH on the other hand refers to the glitter particles ability to let light shine through it. Opaque glitters do not let any light pass through (they are a solid colour) whereas translucent (and transparent) glitters will let more or less light. They may also have an effect on the background they are on or the other glitters they are mixed with, depending on their colour saturation.
